OnStar advisors can summon a tow-truck or a police officer with a simple push of the button. OnStar will even contact you inside the vehicle if the airbags deploy, checking on your medical situation and dispatching medics if necessary. Standard on most new Chevrolets is the Electronic Stability/ Skid-Control System. ESC systems use the anti-lock brake sensors, accelerometers, and steering wheel/ pedal position sensors to figure what the car is doing, and what the driver wants it to do. It is the key safety feature in preventing vehicle roll-over. Many of our New Chevrolets offer GPS Navigation systems. Using the Global Positioning Satellite System and Sensors in the vehicle, GPS navigation systems can pinpoint your exact location and give you turn-by-turn directions (via a small video screen, spoken voice, or both) to help find your way.
